Detailed description of Deertrak Golf Club
Deertrak Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Deertrak Golf Club first opened for play in 1986.The course was designed by Don Chapman.
Several ponds and creeks along with Alderley Lake add character and challenge to twelve of the eighteen holes, especially the water surrounded green on #16, a par-5 hole.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,363 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,114 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 523 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 503 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 171 yard par-3.

Deertrak is a great little layout that I never tire of. The layout rewards a good shot and punishes a poor one. The greens are in terrific condition and have improved immensely over the last two years - as they have placed a priority on improving their condition. This course is a jewel that I return to repeatedly.....there are many very nice courses in the area, however Deertrak keeps me coming back for more. It is a terrific value, does not get heavily layed, and the team in the proshop/clubhouse always finds a way to get you on the course - with, or without a reservation.
